Al Gore’s 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth may well be credited for sensitizing lay earthlings on environmental issues in ways that few other artifacts did – before or since. For dramatically raising awareness levels on global warming and the climate crisis, and for his ongoing environmental activism, Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

In his TED Talk earlier this year, Al Gore presented updated slides from around the globe to make the case that worrying climate trends are even worse than scientists predicted. As before, Al Gore is only the messenger, and in his capacity as a well-known face of the green movement, presenting emerging research on the climate crisis. It’s a great resource for kids working on school projects on climage change or other environmental issues. It’s a short video, and definitely worth a watch.
