Time travel anyone? … and let’s build a pyramid while we’re at it

“Time Engineers” is an interesting computer simulation game for kids between the ages of 7-17. The premise is novel – the kids travel back in time to solve engineering problems in three different eras. Science and Math concepts are woven into the playing of the game.
The children have a shot at building things as diverse as pyramids and drawbridges, to creating a radar array and constructing a diesel submarine.
The kids may look up the math formulas necessary to tackle each task, or apply a trial and error approach. The present version of the game may be short on scenarios and the animations are not probably the best, and costs $19.95, but it seems very promising and worth the price.
Kids can play a trial version of the game here, and maybe check out this demo video to get a flavor of the game.
