See the referenced article at: http://www.louvre.fr

Most of us know this famous museum in Paris as the home of the Mona Lisa. The next best thing to actually making the trip to Paris to see it in person is this excellent site, with a whole bunch of online 3D panoramic tours, interactive floor plans, thematic mini-sites, and high quality pictures of some its most famous paintings and artifacts.

The online exhibits are to be found in the “Eye-openers” section. If you would like to explore the various sections of the museum, take one of these virtual tours. You can even retrace the steps of the protagonist in the “The DaVinci Code” by taking this thematic tour. This includes paying a visit to the Louvre’s most famous denizen.
